Learn to Draw with Emmanuel is a weekly online session where viewers are taught how to draw by 17 year old TWCP Steering Group member, artist and Barking Riverside resident Emmanuel Oreyeni.
The sessions are streamed LIVE on the TWCP Instagram, Facebook and Zoom accounts every Monday at 5pm. Anyone is welcome to participate, no matter your age or experience in drawing, Emmanuel breaks complicated tasks down into easy to follow steps, talking you through every step of the way using shapes.
The sessions were initially launched as part of TWCP’s Community response to Covid-19

If you want to join in with Emmanuel and work on your drawing ability then the best way to get involved is via Zoom where you can show Emmanuel your work as you go and ask any questions you need, plus meet others drawing along at the same time.
The sessions are also streamed LIVE on Facebook and Instagram for those who just want to watch at first.
All you need to participate is a pencil, piece of paper, eraser and sharpener. No fancy equipment required – you will be surprised by what you will be able to achieve in just one session!
